Nairobi Glitters Vs Gold Rap Contest

The Nairobi Battle of the Raps is a project designed to empower emerging hip-hop artists from underserved and marginalized communities in Nairobi and its surrounding counties. It also extends support to vulnerable groups, including artists with disabilities and refugees. Targeting over 300 young artists, this initiative serves as a precursor to the 2026 Nairobi Art-life International Festival The project aims to revitalize the city’s creative scene in the aftermath of COVID-19 by fostering artistic collaboration, addressing challenges within the arts sector, and equipping artists with essential skills for livelihood and community development. A launch & pilot is scheduled for the 9th of August 2025 at the Karen Village, Nairobi.
