Multi-Arts Climate Action Campaign
Signed a collaboration agreement with KIUESA during the Africa Climate Change Summit. Mobilized over 2,000 students and artists. Planted 50,000 trees at Nairobi National Park with support from KCB Foundation and FONNAP.
Revised UoN Collaboration Agreement
Signed an expanded 6-pillar partnership with the University of Nairobi: Arts Research, Mentorship Center, Training Workshops, Annual Conference, Community Outreach, and the Nairobi Art-Life Festival.
Let's Talk Art Workshop Series
Launched phase one of a 12-month workshop series with UoN, American Spaces & UNESCO. Focused on 120 young art-makers from Nairobi's vulnerable communities.
Post-Covid Art-Life Conference
Hosted the Art-Life KEEP-IT-LIT CONFERENCE with UoN, UNESCO, Safaricom, and Youth Fund. Attended by 300+ delegates from government, corporates, artists, and psychosocial experts.
CA Signed with UoN
Signed a 5-year agreement with the University of Nairobi to run training workshops, annual conferencing, and the Nairobi Art-Life Festival.
Official Registration
Registered Art-Life Group as a Special Projects CBO with the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection to support at-risk artists in Nairobi's vulnerable areas.
Birth of Art-Life
Founded by Isaac Oprong after years working in Southern Africa's arts scene. Inspired by a vision to launch Kenya's transformative nonprofit arts festival.
